DISTRICT FOOTBALL
As a city, Birmingham is divided into seven districts:

Aston and West Birmingham – Aston, Ladywood, Soho, Lozells, Handsworth, Perry Barr and Kingstanding
-
East Birmingham – Bordsley Green, Stechford, Yardley, Sheldon, Acocks Green and Shard End
-
Erdington and Saltley – Tyburn, Stockland Green, Erdington, Washwood Heath, Bromford, Hodge Hill, Shard End, Stechford, Nechells and Saltley

Harborne – Edgbaston, Quinton, Harborne and Bartley Green
-
Kings Norton – Northfield, Bournville, Selly Oak, Weoley Castle, Longbridge and Kings Norton

South Birmingham – Billesley, Sparkbrook, Moseley, Kings Heath, South Yardley and Hall Green
-
Sutton Coldfield – Walmley, Boldmere, Sutton Vesey, Sutton New Hall, Four Oaks, Mere Green and Sutton Coldfield
There are over 300 primary schools in Birmingham and each school is affiliated to one of these seven districts.
Following annual trials, each association selects a number of district squads to compete against other school associations from across the country.
