STEP 1: FIND OUT WHO YOUR CHILD CAN PLAY FOR

Children can only play for the district who their primary school is associated to.

STEP 3: ATTEND TRIALS

Once you have registered for district trials, you will receive an email confirming the venue, date and time of the trial. This information will also be published on this website once available. 

2026 Boys Trials: Dates, Times and Venue

Open Trials will take place throughout April and May 2026 at ​AVFC Brookvale Academy, B6 7DS.

 

​​Key Information

  • Current Year 3, 4 and 5 boys 

  • Players must arrive ready to play football - boots with moulded studs, shorts and t-shirt, shin pads, a drink of water 

  • Players must arrive on time 

  • Parents will be emailed within one-week of the trial to inform them if their son has been selected for the next round of the trials AND the BPSFA website will list the names of those boys selected for the next trial. TR

  • East Birmingham 

    • Current Year 3 and 4 - Saturday 9th May @ 8:00am

    • Current Year 5 - Saturday 25th April @ 8:00am

  • Erdington and Saltley 

    • Current Year 3 and 4 - Saturday 2nd May @ 8:00am 

    • Current Year 5 - Saturday 25th April @ 8:00am

  • Harborne ​

    • Current Year 3 and 4 - Saturday 2nd May @ 11:00am 

    • Current Year 5 - Saturday 25th April @ 9:30am

  • Kings Norton ​

    • Current Year 3 and 4 - Saturday 16th May @ 9:30am 

    • Current Year 5 - Saturday 16th May @ 8:00am

Boys' Trials: Recalled List

After each trial, parents will be emailed within 48-hours to confirm if their child has been selected for the next trial. 

2026 Girls  Trials: Dates, Times and Venue

Open Trials will take place throughout May, June and July 2026.

Key Information

  • Current Year 4 and 5 girls

  • All trials are open unless otherwise stated 

  • Players to arrive ready to play football - boots with moulded studs, shorts and t-shirt, shin pads, a drink of water 

  • Players should arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of their trial 

  • Parents will be emailed within one-week of the trial to inform them if their daughter has been selected for the next round of the trials 

 

A limited number of players will be called back to an invite-only trial following the conclusion of the above open trials. Information about the invite-only trials will be emailed to the parents of those who are selected to attend.
