TRIALS 2022/23

If your son/daughter is currently in years 3, 4 or 5 and you want them to attend the 2022/23 district trials, follow the three simple steps below.

STEP ONE:IDENTIFY THE CORRECT DISTRICT 
Children are only permitted to represent the district that their primary school is assigned to. Check the list below to confirm which of Birmingham's seven districts they are eligible to represent.

STEP TWO:REGISTER WITH THE APPROPRIATE DISTRICT 
Once you have identified the district that your child is eligible to represent, click on the district badge below to register them for the trials.

STEP THREE: ATTEND THE TRIALS 

Final Boys' Trial / Festival 
  • Friday 8th July 
  • Current Year 3 and 4 
    • Arrive 4:45pm ​
    • Trials 5:00pm - 6:30pm ​​
  • Current Year 5 ​
    • Arrive 6:15pm ​
    • Trials 6:30pm - 8:00pm 

 

Boys attending the trials must: 

  • arrive 15 mins before their trial starts 

  • wear suitable clothing for playing football 

  • wear football boots and shin pads 

  • bring a drink of water 

  • bring two t-shirts with them - a black t-shirt and a white-t-shirt 


Parents attending the trials must: 

  • supervise children during trials - they must NOT leave their child and 'pop to the shops' 

  • not shout throughout the trials 

  • not be aggressive and rude 

  • sit back, relax and enjoy the trial
